It's been a truly long time since I've updated this blog. Originally my focus was on research and historical information about the War of 1812 and the early settlement of Ohio and the Northwest Territory. I've still been busy researching and writing a monograph about Ohio and the War of 1812, and turning up interesting historical stories and footnotes as I do. Additionally, I've taken up film photography as well as collecting typewriters, and so I'm going to try to update this blog with elements of both pursuits.
